Yes it's great fun, but maybe you might also step your way to improvements in balance and feel, and notice positive changes in both mind and muscle tone.
Research suggests that Line Dancing can benefit an aging brain. It can improve cognition and delay dementia, increase attention and focus, and reduce depression.
We received this lovely letter from the Sunshine Butterflies. We coould not be more humbled and proud that we can help such a great organisation!
As mentioned in Sandy Bolton MP's weekly wrap, Noosa’s own Sunny Coasters Linedancing will be hosting a breast cancer fundraiser on Friday 13 Oct. This event will take place on the big pier at the Noosa Marina and Markets from 9:30am -11am. There will be pink radiating from all corners of the pier as the Sunny Coasters dance their “boots off” off to raise money for this very important cause. Come down for a coffee, some toe tapping and enjoy the ‘pink’ morning. Afterwards, join for morning tea at the Marina Bar Noosa.

The Sunny Coasters will return to Arcare Noosa on Fri 8 Dec where they will once again treat the residents to a fun-filled , Christmas-themed hour of dancing. This event always lifts the spirits, of both residents and staff and brings a smile to all.
The suggestion of participation is always enthusiastically received and many of the dear residents, some of whom were dancers ‘back in the day’ will rise to their feet and ‘move to the groove’.
The Sunny Coasters have been invited to entertain at the annual Sunshine Butterflies Christmas celebration through dance on their property on Fri 1 Dec. The dancers provide fun entertainment, encompassing dancing and singing which always involves positive upbeat music and The Sunshine Butterflies are always encouraged to participate. This event always brings joy and tears to everyone’s eyes, including our dancers!
